‘Ouija: Origin of Evil’ Prequel Releases Creepy Trailer [Video]

Ouija: Origin of Evil is the sequel, or more like a prequel, to the hit micro-budget Blumhouse film from 2014, Oujia. Although the original film did bow to great box office numbers in its opening weekend, it failed to truly impress a committed horror audience. But all that is about to change with this creepy new sequel that might just outdo its predecessor.

Set in the 1960s, Ouija: Origin of Evil gives fans a glimpse into the story that unfolded long before the modern version of the horror tale. The origins of the evil is something that takes shape when a widowed mother and her two daughters start a scam racket to help fund their small family. But things go from bad to worse when the youngest daughter makes an actual breakthrough that turns her into the creepiest possible version of herself.

The trailer for Ouija: Origin of Evil actually debuted several days ago and has been taking awhile to make its rounds within the horror community. But for those who love a good creep out film that uses a small girl as the main terror, then this film definitely has what you are looking for.

Fans can probably also guess when Ouija: Origin of Evil releases. As expected, it will make its debut just before Halloween this year, on October 21.
